DDA Housing Scheme 2010 Application Money Loan from Banks

As per the recent invitation for DDA Housing Scheme 2010 the applicant should pay an Earnest money of Rs. 50000 for  Janta flats and Rs. 150000 for other flats. If you don’t have liquid money with you and eligible to apply for DDA Housing Scheme 2010, you can approach banks which are ready to give loan for the application Money (Earnest Money). Both private sector banks and public sector banks are giving Application money loan for this purpose. Banks are charging 8 to 9 percent per annum and most of the banks charge simple interest for the loan. The DDA Housing Scheme 2010 opened on 25th November, 2010 and will close on 24th December, 2010.

Following are the list and details of banks which offer the Earnest money loan for DDA housing scheme.

Axis Bank

Rs. 4125 interest Rs. 735 Processing fee for Rs. 150000   @8.25%

Rs. 1375 interest Rs. 515 Processing fee for Rs. 50000   @8.25%

Canara Bank

Rs. 4807 interest Rs. 331 Processing fee Rs. 50 for Stamp paper for Rs. 150000   @9.5%

Rs. 1603 interest Rs. 331 Processing fee Rs. 50 for Stamp paper for Rs. 50000   @9.5%

IDBI Bank

Rs. 4500 interest Rs. 250 Processing fee for Rs. 150000   @8.75%

Rs. 1650 interest Rs. 250 Processing fee for Rs. 50000   @8.75%

Indian Overseas Bank

Rs. 4375 interest Rs. 250 Processing fee for Rs. 150000   @8.75%

Rs. 1459 interest Rs. 250 Processing fee for Rs. 50000   @8.75%

Central Bank of India

Rs. 4300 interest Rs. 221 Processing fee for Rs. 150000   @8.5%

Rs. 1434 interest Rs. 221 Processing fee for Rs. 50000   @8.5%

No processing fee for those who have SB account with the bank

Bank of India

Rs. 4782 interest for 4.5 month  (May be revised for 4 months) for Rs. 150000   @8.5%

Rs. 1594 interest for 4.5 month  (May be revised for 4 months)  for Rs. 50000   @8.5%

Union Bank

State Bank of India

Rs. 4600 (Rs. 4500 interest + Rs. 100 for Stamp Paper) for 4.5 months (revised rate on 01st December, 2010) for Rs. 150000   @8%  per annum

Rs. 1600 (Rs. 1500 interest + Rs. 100 for Stamp Paper) for 4.5 months (revised rate on 01st December, 2010) for Rs. 50000   @8%  per annum

Documents required by banks for DDA Housing Scheme 2010 Earnest Money finance

  • PAN Card with original and photo copy

  • Identity Proof

  • Two Passport Size Photographs

  • Address Proof(Original and Photo copy)

  • Two PDC Cheques

  • Latest Salary Slip or Income Tax Return or Form 16

  • DDA application Form

  • Requisite Certificate in Case of Reserve Category, If Any – One Self-Attested Photocopy with the Original

  • One revenue stamp of Re. 1


This loan facility is helpful to those who do not have Rs. 150000 or Rs. 50000 liquid money with them. They can also try their luck with DDA Housing Scheme 2010 with a ready cash of around Rs. 4000 to Rs. 5000.And can avoid the headache of waiting for refund of money, when the failure in draw, if any.

    My mother lives in other state, with account n all proofs at there only. How can she avail the loan for this scheme? I have got the scanned copies of the proofs, but unable to submit the DELHI/ NCR checques as required.

    Pl Suggest.

    We have submitted 3 application forms for DDA Housing Scheme-2010 at AXIX Bank branch {Gurgaon Sector-14 (Main) - SCO-29, NEAR PLAZA SOLITAIRE HOTEL, SECTOR-14, GURGAON } on 24.12.2010 bearing Application Nos.0959439,0959440&0959441 of Ms. Priyanka Maheshwari, Smt. Madhu Maheshwari & Shri Arvind Kumar Maheswari respectively. As all these 3 application were declared unsuccessful hence application money needs to be refunded but we have yet not recd the refund advice. Can you provide the contact details of nodal officer whom to contact?
