Know Your Pay Fixation on Promotion and MACP

Pay fixation is done for an employee if he/she gets a promotion. There is a slight difference of Pay Fixation in Promotion and MACP upgradation…

We are receiving a number of queries as comments regarding the Pay Fixation from the viewers and we try our level best to reply to all queries. But due to non-availability of certain individual information, we are unable to answer everything they have asked for.

As the employees are in different departments of the Central government establishments, the line of promotion (hierarchy) also differs. If any inputs from the departments regarding the line of Promotion and MACP can be obtained from your side, the confusion related to the Promotion and MACP may be clarified.

    I joined in April,1986.My pre revised scale is 5500-9000 and after availing I ACP in April,2001.I am in the scale of 6500-10500. kindly let me know which grade pay is to be given to me, after the grant of II ACP (whether it is 4800 or 5400)

  2. I have Joined In Scale 4500 In 1988.Earned My first Promotion On 24/5/90 In Scale Rs 5000 And In Nov 1997 I got 2nd Promotion on Scale 5500. And on 2006 I got Third Promotion In scale Rs 65 00 . All the promotions are hard earned through departmental competitive examination .And As per 6th Cpc Scale 5000 And Scale 550 0are merged .Am i eligible for MACP. Or Earning Promotion Curse

    I joined as UDC on 28.8.1986 and got 1st ACP on 12.10.2000 afterwords I got my promotion as Assistant on 28.01.2011 with Grade pay Rs.4200 , When I got 1st ACP at the time of fixation on 1.8.2008 mygrade pay was Rs.4200 due to merger of pay scale. What will be the exactly my pay and Grade pay if I got my 2nd MACP as I complete my 20 years on 28.8.2006. Please let me know the correct fixation of pay

  5. I joined as group D staff on Nov 1st 1999 when I got ACP my grade pay is fixed on 1800. I got MACP on NOV 1st 2009 to the next grade pay 1900. On June 2011 I got promotion as LDC , the grade pay of LDC is also 1900. what will be my next grade pay? will it be the same 1900 or to the next grade pay in the hierarchic? shall I get any increment at the time of promotion?

  6. I joined the post of Computer Programmer in the central Government having pay scale was : 7450-225-11500 on 31-10-2001.

    I have not got any promotions till now. what Grade pay i will get now.
