Terms and conditions of Ad-hoc bonus as per this order
This Non-Productivity linked bonus is for government employees those who are in service on 31st March, 2012. Those who are not worked the whole year will get proportionate bonus for the period they have worked, but only if they have a continuous service of 6 months or more. (When calculating the completed number of months the month will be rounded off to the nearest number of months)
The quantum of Non-PLB (ad-hoc bonus) is going to be figured out on the idea of average emoluments / calculation ceiling whichever is lower. To calculate Non-PLB (Ad-hoc bonus) for a day, the average emoluments during a year are going to be divided by 30.4 (average number of days during a month). this may thenceforth be multiplied by the quantity of days of bonus granted. For example, taking the calculation ceiling of monthly wage of Rs.3500 (if more than Rs.3500), Non-PLB for thirty days would calculate to Rs. 3500×30/30.4=Rs.3453.95 (rounded off to Rs 3454/-).
(iii) The casual labour have worked in offices following a six days week for a minimum of 240 days for every year for three years or more than that (206 days in annually for three years or a lot of more case of offices observant five days week), are going to be eligible for this Non-PLB (Ad-hoc Bonus) Payment. the number of Non-PLB (ad-hoc bonus) due are going to be (Rs.1200×30/30.4 i.e.Rs.1184.21 (rounded off to Rs.1184/-). In cases wherever the particular emoluments fall below Rs.1200/- p.m., the number are going to be calculated on actual monthly emoluments.
(iv) All payments under these orders are going to be rounded off to the closest rupee
(v) The clarification orders issued vide this Ministry’s OM dated 4.10.1988, as amended when there is needed.
3. The expenditure on this account is going to be added to the respective Heads to that the pay and allowances of those workers are debited.
4. The expenditure incurred on account of Non-PLB (Ad-hoc Bonus) is to be met from the sanctioned budget provision of the Ministries/Departments for this year.
5. In to this point because the persons serving within the Indian Audit and Accounts Department are involved, these orders are issued in consultation with the comptroller and Auditor General of India.
